Assistant Professor

Dr. H. Jagir Hussain is an Assistant Professor at the Jamal Institute of Management, Jamal
Mohamed College (Autonomous), Tiruchirappalli, Tamil Nadu, India. He has over 25 years
of combined experience in industry and academia. Before joining academia, he held
responsible positions in reputed organizations including ICICI Bank Ltd., Cholamandalam
Investment and Finance Company Limited, gaining valuable expertise in banking and
finance.
His teaching and research interests include banking, financial services, digital payment
systems, human resource management, and business management. He has published several
research papers in reputed national and international journals on topics such as UPI, IMPS,
mobile banking, GST, online fund transfer systems, and customer satisfaction in banking
services. He has also contributed book chapters on Quality of Work Life and Remote Work
Time Management.
Dr.H. Jagir Hussain has actively participated in numerous Faculty Development Programmes,
workshops, seminars, and orientation programmes on innovative teaching, research, artificial
intelligence in education, sustainable supply chain management, and professional
development. He is committed to promoting quality management education through effective
teaching, research, and continuous academic learning.
