Assistant Professor
Dr. A. Jainullabdeen is an Assistant Professor in Marketing and General Management in Jamal Institute of Management,Trichy. He received his Under-graduation degree in Chemistry from C.Abdul Hakeem College, Melvisharam, affiliated to Madras University, MBA from Bharathidasan University, M.Phil from PRIST University and received his PhD degree from Jamal Institute of Management, Jamal Mohamed College, affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Trichy. He is Sales Manager turned Professor.
Before beginning his academic career, Professor Jainullabdeen worked in India's top pharmaceutical companies like Zydus, Alkem, India's No1 Biotech Company- Serum Institute of India Pvt Ltd, and top Biotech Company-VHB Life Sciences Inc, Pre Independence companies like Pharmed Ltd, Khandelwal Labs Pvt Ltd, and Social Marketing company DKT Healthcare India Pvt Ltd an affiliate of DKT International, Washington, DC. In two decades of Industrial experience, he has held several positions including Business Officer, Area Business Manager and Regional Business Manager. He has launched first time in India products, was a star performer and achieved India's Top 10 positions for pharmaceutical products' sales. He attended MDP in Industry and FDPs/Conferences in IIM- Kozhikode, NIT Trichy, PSG Institute of Management, Coimbatore, Bharathiar University, University of Kerala and Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International School of Textile & Management, Coimbatore, Sastra University, Tanjore and Anna University and Bharathidasan University etc. He has successfully completed a course titled Supply Chain Management for Renewable Energy Projects in The Gandhiigram Rural Institute – Deemed to be University, Gandhigram, Dindigul District. He got trained for conducting Entrepreneurship courses by EDII-TN in collaboration with WF-NEN and conducted Entrepreneurship programs.
He has published articles in international and national journals and has made numerous presentations at international and national conferences. He has conducted workshops on Entrepreneurship.
