Jamal Institute of Management, a part of Jamal Mohamed College was established in the year 2000 with an avowed objective of developing aspiring youth as business leaders to manage the business in the competitive environment for success and growth. JIM has been making a significant contribution to management relevant to practitioners in the areas of Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance and Knowledge Management, and JIM is recognized as a Centre for offering Ph.D in Management programmes by Bharathidasan University.

Our core strengths are qualified, experienced and committed faculty members and industry linkage. Added to this, institute has exclusive facilities and laboratories for communication development, personality development and employability skills. We have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the following organizations for faculty and students development.

2 Coal & Oil Group, Dubai.

We have established a Centre for Retail Excellence to carryout research studies on retail sector. Similarly it is proposed to start a Centre for Islamic Banking. The placement cell at JIM helps our students for placement in Indian and multinational companies. The companies such as, SBI Life Insurance, Royal Bank of Scotland, ITC Limited, Airtel Limited, TVS Motors, HSBC Investments in India, TATA AIG, Bajaj Allianz, HDFC Standard Life Insurance regularly recruit our student for their requirements. Every year considerable number of our MBA students are recruited by multi nationals in Dubai such as ETA Ascon, Emstar, Coal and Oil Group. Our MBA curriculum is in line with the requirement of national and multinational organizations. Our Pedegogy is unique. It combines teaching, case studies to give an exposure to practices, quiz, guest lectures and learning through industrial visits and so on. At JIM we care for holistic development of students with right attitude, values, skill to innovate, adaptability to environment and their employability.
