He has published Six Research Papers in the leading National and International refereed Journals.
He has presented 18 Research Papers in National and International conferences. He has presented a paper on "Retail Service Quality of Food and Grocery Retailers in India." in the International Conference held at Universiti Technologi Mara, Melaka, Malaysia on July 2009.
He has completed ten research projects for different companies including RPG Spencer's Retail, Nilgiris, Shoppers Stop Ltd., Pantaloon Big Bazaar, HUL, Phillips, Hyundai Motors and Vodafone Essar. He has carried research studies in the following areas such as Retail Service Quality, Brand Awareness of Premium Fuels, Shoppers Perception and Experiences, Feasibility Study on Theme Park and Consumer Satisfaction. His feasibility study on setting an Amusement Park at Trichy for the client Trichy City Corporation has been appreciated by the Mayor.
He traveled widely. The countries he has visited includes UAE, Oman, Malaysia and Singapore.
MEMBERSHIP IN PROFESSIONAL BODIES
He is a member in number of Professional and Academic Bodies such as Madras Management Association (MMA), Coimbatore Management Association (CMA) and HRD Times.
He also organized three National Level Seminars in the area of Retailing, HRM and Services Marketing Sponsored by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), NewDelhi (Government of India).
He is recognized as research supervisor in management for doctoral programmes. He also guides scholars in M.Phil.
JIM CENTRE FOR RETAIL EXCELLENCE
Through his efforts in his b school, he has taken interest in establishing an excellence centre for retailing. (JIM CENTRE FOR RETAIL EXCELLENCE). He has also designed teaching methods for various retail management programmes through methods of case analysis.
