ABOUT THE INSTITUTE

         
Jamal Mohamed College was founded in 1951, as an affiliated college to the University of Madras and then affiliated to Bharathidasan University, Tiruchirappalli, when it was formed in 1984. The College is administered by the Society of Jamal Mohamed College. It is established in a sprawling land area of 87 acres as a religious minority institution with the primary objective of providing higher education to the downtrodden and socially backward sections of the society in general and Muslim minority in particular. Over the period of 5 decades, the college was able to scale greater and greater heights and rise to the present status as a multi faculty institution with 11 UG courses, 11 PG courses and 2 M.Phil. Programmes under Government Aided stream and 3 U.G. courses, 8 P.G. courses, 11 M.Phil., and 11 PhD programmes under self financing stream by promoting quality and excellence in higher education due to the sustained efforts and dedicated leadership given by the College Management Committee. The college offers 8 U.G. and 8 P.G. courses exclusively for women as part of women empowerment during the second shift of the College.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT

          The department was established in the year 1951. The department offers B.Sc., M.Sc., M.Phil (Full-Time & Part-Time) and PhD (Full-Time & Part-Time). It has highly qualified faculty members actively engaged in teaching, research, continuing education programmes and consultancy.

          The department conducts various research activities which are both fundamental and applied in nature. In particular, expertise is available in:

  • Network Optimization - Fuzzy Optimization

  • Fuzzy Graph - Stochastic Processes

  • Operations Research - Graph Theory

 CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

To inspire and attract young mathematicians to innovative and challenging area

 

To provide the researchers from various regions of the globe an opportunity of getting exposure to the talks by those who apply this area in their fields of interest

To provide a venue for interaction among young   researchers and experts in these areas

To deal with mathematical techniques related to mathematical methods, computational systems and modeling etc.

Application of mathematical methods and computation in various branches of Science, Humanities and Engineering

 CALL FOR PAPERS

          Original papers are invited from academicians, research scholars and industrialists on the following areas, but not limited to, listed below:

Combinatorics - Algorithms  - Computer arithmetic and Numerical analysis - Computer networks - Parallel Algorithms - Decision making - Discrete Mathematics Differential Equations -  Environmental Modeling- Evolutionary  computing  and  neural  networks- Experimental Mathematics -Finance and Management  Fuzzy Sets and Systems - Fuzzy Graph Theory - Fuzzy Logic - Fuzzy Optimization - Game Theory - Graph Theory - Image Compression ·Information systems - Interval  arithmetic - Mathematical   Modeling   and Simulation - Mathematical Biology - Mathematical Medicine Mathematical programming Networks - Operations Research - Stochastic Processes - Uncertainty Modeling.

 PAPER SUBMISSION

                Submissions must be of original contributions and should not have been presented or published anywhere. Authors of the accepted paper must guarntee that at least one of the authors will attend the conference and present the paper. The first page of the paper must contain only the Title, Authors name, abstract, keywords and phrases and 2000 Mathematics subject classifications. Submitted papers will be assessed by at least two reviewers.

 

Selected papers will be published in the  national
repute Jamal Academic Research Journal
