School curriculam:

              Montessori Classes.

              Pre.K.G, L.K.G, U.K.G

               Learning is very unconventional and done through play- way method using specially

designed aids. This develops psycho-cognitive skills (learning by doing) under well trained and

caring Anglo - Indian teachers.

               The emphasis is to make, written work more ingenious and concentrate on the

physical, mental and emotional growth of children, to make them self-reliant. Special care is

taken to develop their cognitive skills.

               Importance is given to home assignments, but they are not made as a continuation

of the class – work, but as a reinforcement of the knowledge learnt and the combined

participation of the parents, in the rightful education of their wards.

Activities:

              The tiny ‘Jamalians’ of our school enjoy the ambiance of colourful classrooms, and

not feel the cumbersome burden of academics. Alphabets and numbers come in musical notes

with phonetics and actions.

Primary classes I – V:

              Formal education is introduced using the matriculation syllabus and its prescribed

text books. Art, Craft, Club activities, Music, computers etc are however added to the

curriculum. This enhances the overall development of the character and personality.

Activities:

            The learning process is filled with hand on experiences of the contents of the subjects.

“We do, We learn, We grow” being the motto of our school, the children enjoy and retain easily

the knowledge so gathered.

            Dramatization, role play, experimentation, projects, creative writing, fun games are

some of the instruments used to motivate the learning skills of the students.

Classes  VI – X:

            The importance here is given more to the academic part, which aims in spotting the

exemplary talents of students and developing them. Their talents are channelized and

encouraged to participate in inter – school competitions. This develops their self – confidence,

positive individual mannerisms and styles of behaviour rather than produce clones in society.

Activities:

            To develop imaginative, creative skills and encourage the specialization of their

talents, Activities are designed to develop both physical and mental health. Various

competitions are organized often, the Jamalians form a part of intra – school and inter school

competitions.

           Jamal Mohamed College Ayesha Girls Matriculation School is a place, were a complex

interplay of multiple factors is abuzz with ceaseless activities. It’s a perfect place for students

to unwind their talent and also procure knowledge to the optimum level.

Students assembly:

                The morning assembly is a grand affair; they enjoy the class presentation of small role

plays and facts being unfolded on an everyday basis. Apart from knowing the headlines, they

participate for a few minutes of lively music to refresh their brains to meet the day’s challenge
