The Annual Meet of the Alumni Association of Jamal Mohamed College Dubai Chapter was held on 28th September 2007 at Hotel Dubai Thera Landmark, when the Special Iftar Party and felicitation to the mission from Jamal Mohamed College were also held.
Janab Mohamed Anes Conducted the prayer followed by the welcome address by Janab Fareej Mohamed. The Secretary of the Dubai Chapter Alhaj M. Abdul Rahman presented the report. He recalled the construction of Dubai block at Jamal Mohamed College Hostel, giving scholarships to the economically weaker section of students and also extending cooperation at all levels for the growth of the College.
The General Secretary of Alumni Association and Vice-Principal of Jamal Mohamed College Dr. M.M. Shahul Hameed, in his address, the bondage between the old students and the College is nothing but the relationship between the mother and son. He invited everyone to the college as they go to their parents house.
The Principal Dr. M. Sheik Mohamed, in his address elaborated about the different programmes offered in the College, campus interview programmes and Annual Alumni meet on August 15th. Also, he thanked Alhaj Syed M. Salahudeen, Managing Director, ETA ASCON, who helping the construction of Mosque Hostel, and Alhaj Noorul Haq, Executive Director, ETA ASCON, and HRM Executive Director Alhaj M. Akbar Khan for their significant contributions.
The Secretary and Corresspondent Alhaj M.J.M. Abdul Gafoor, thanked the alumni for their contributions. Alhaj K.A. Khaleel Ahmed Sahib and Prof. Kalander addressed the gathering.
The President of the Dubai Chapter Janab Sadiq Kaka honoured the dignitaries with shawl and he announced his plans to recruit the students to his companies. Finally Muduvai Hidayath proposed vote of thanks.
